Dear Editor,
I would like to provide my opinion in the assault case against DJ Ano!
It is true that all human beings are hurt when their loved-one is being taken away from them. However, the savage violence which took place and that was used to resolve this case brings shame to Cambodia honor: not only was Khmer pride being destroyed by this act, but also Buddhist Ahimsa (non-violence) has been cheapened shamelessly.
I am begging all our compatriots to resolve their disputes peacefully in order to preserve the honor of Cambodia which used to be a famous empire in Asia.

Several popular singers and actresses have been abused in recent years. It is believed to Piseth Pilika murdered in 1999, Touch Srey Nic, wounded by bullets in 2003 - it has followed intensive care in Bangkok and the United States. The last such case of early 2007, with the aggression of Pov Panh Pitch, treated in Vietnam. Common denominators of these murders and attempted murders: revenge wives from powerful families, and the impunity of gunmen, none have been prosecuted so far.

This is a very horrible story. An actress disappeared and no one know anything about it. No investigation and no complaints or anything. What is the police doing in Cambodia? Why is the government allows things like this to happen to the civilian without protection. I wish the actress is still alive and recovering. Most of all, I wish Cambodian government will punished the one who has done these things to her.
Yes, it's horrible. But a natural consequence if you get involved with a married man. Especially if he's rich and powerful. ;)
my heart goes out to her. i personally feel that it's morally wrong to get involved with a married man. however, some of these girls in cambodia have no choice but to get involved. not only do they get threats from the s.o.b. if they don't hook up with him, they also have to watch their backs 24/7 just in case the s.o.b's wife hired a hitman to finish them off.
I am a minor Vietnamese living in Vietnam, I have never seen or heart about DJ Ano before, but I am too sock when reading about her painful. What can we do to help her now!.
This is extremely sad and tragic this is worse than the killing fields!!! how can someone so evil live amongst us. The person that should be punished is the husband, he has used his powers to abuse human rights and in the end the jealous and stupid wife gets the girl. its true and sad that beautiful cambodian stars have no choice but to follow orders and sleep with the High ranking officals of cambodia, which means they are put in a no win situtation, either they are killed for saying no by the men or they are killed for listening to orders by the wives. This wife obviously is a heartless B**** who needs to pray to God to save her now for in the end karma willback 100times worse just like her husband who is now bodyless. this is a common occurance in cambodia can nothing be done to protect our stars? cant anyone do something, anyone to find justice for all cambodian stars who have been victims high ranking people who use their powers to abuse human rights. We all need to stand up for their rights and find a way to stop this now.
Our hearts go out to DJ Ano and her family and we pray that if she is still alive that she will one day be able to overcome this nightmare and rise again and show her attackers that they will get whats coming to them.
I think she deserves it. Some whores do not just secretly steal the husbands secretly, but they even wanted the husband to get divorced with the first wifes and take them to become the real wife. Sometimes, we have to look at situation with another situation. My family had that kind of problems, so i really these kinds of girls as well as the guys. They have no shame. People do not want to be monster if the situation do not force them to do so.
Sh..t oh please don't blame it on DJ Ano. What happened to the dude that uses his power to get all the women he wants??? He should be the one who get his PETER chop off by his wife. In a third world countries powerful elite person(s) abuses his or her power to get what they intended to get. They are all a bunch of freaking PIGS. By the way I am speaking from the male's point of view.

Goodness, the story is not even true. She went oversea, someone started a rumor, and all of you just started arguing. If you live in Cambodia, you know how these kind of people love to start rumor like having orgasm.

this is just bad . i dont know the really story of DJ ANO but . but the story like that it is often happen in cambodia . it is very sad that no one can stop this people doign this . it just too sad for the stars who dont have choice to refuse what the all the powerful people offer to them .
A girl by her own nature, no matter how pretty or famous she is would not like to go out with a MARRIED man. By any standard, this attitude is even less likely for a Khmer girl. Only powerful pigs in Cambodia can do anything they want and it is almost a daily task that the ONLY entertainment they have (most do not read books or have good educations-culture ?) in this country is to drink heavily, partying, pick up pretty girls from the TV stations or karaoke joins.
I won't blame those girls bc they are helpless and most of the time are being pressured by the TV Head stations to go out with "Lok thom"-so called Ach oudom inkampoup(who incidently keep long fingers nails to clear their nose and ear holes). They have no interests whatsoever, no reading, no visiting the museums, no going to the seminars, no conferences attending... if not sending people to find girls or they would drink to the max as if there is no more tomorrow.
Then the stupid wives start complaining of not getting fair share of attention,
Not daring to confront the dump husbands, they would go after the actual victims, those poor helpless girls.
We know full well that these girls have no options of refusing.
Another thing, if you dare having an affair with an girl outside the house, YOU must act like a man, PROTECT HER !
i am cambodian it is the true story that in cambodia there are many thing like that happen to the stars that the high ranking like to sleep with famous stars that make their wife very angry and try to hurt them so badly . it is too pity for those girls that they dont have any choice to refuse them .
