I’ve just recently discovered Dailymotion. If I thought that once I was blind (a previous post), now I’m positive. I’m not really sure how I missed it exactly, but somehow I always referred to it as YouTube wannabe and didn’t pay too much attention to it. But Dailymotion is different. It has so much more illegal content there. YouTube is working really fast in deleting the illegal clips, while Dailymotion and many others are taking their time, not rushing to stop their traffic and cash flow. But, as always, it’s a game between the law and the surfers, mouse and cat, David and Goliath.

If you go through the following sites, you will have a chance to watch full TV episodes from Seinfeld, The Simpsons, Lost, The Office, That 70’s Show, Scrubs, Band of Brothers, South Park, Punk’d and movies like Click, Ice Age, Jackass, The Island, Hostel, Four Brothers and many many many more.

Some of the epsiodes work, some of the episodes don’t. Some videos can be downloaded directly, some videos needs the use of sites like keepvid and some videos can’t be downloaded (they’re streamed). But all in all most of the videos in the sites I linked to are working perfectly.

1. TV-Fusion -  offers a variety of great shows - South Park, Futurama, The Simpsons, American Dad, That 70’s Show, That’s my Bush, Punk’D, Scrubs and an amazing list of many movies - comedy (with stuff like Click, Ice Age, Dogma, Scary Movie, Clerks 2, 50 First Dates and Talladega Nights), horror (with Sin City, V for Vandetta, Saw and Hostel), action (like Four Brothers, Batman Begins, Snakes on a Plane, MI3 and The Island) and you can also visit the other movies category.

2. Rape the Web is a nasty name for a site, but I guess what they’re doing is pretty nasty (they also have sex passwords, if anyone is interested). They basically have the same movies and TV shows to offer as TV-Fusion from above and in some cases they even do it better.

3. Dailymotion Favorites - you can find some really great movies and episodes, if you just follow the right person in Dailymotion. Dailymotion users can create their own playlists using the movies on site and bookmark the videos they like. TheWalkingDude, for example, has links to Smurfs episodes (!), Transformers, The Simpsons and many others (usually not full seasons, only a few episodes from each show). If you go to pig2cat page on Dailymotion, you could start watching the full show of Band of Brothers and if you go to BGRTRob page, you can view 15 full episodes of Seinfeld.

4. Tv-Nation has the regular TV series to offer plus a few extras, like Lost (all Epsiodes aired so far), My Name is Earl, Prison Break, The Office and the same movies as the above has to offer.

5. Findago has a very simple interface and it works perfectly, but it has very little to offer compared to the above and nothing new to add.

6. My Fav Eps is also pretty much the same, although it looks like it’s constantly being updated and checked for broken links. Maybe this will be a better site to check when all others will start failing one by one.

7. Last, but certainly not least, is the famous peekvid that offers variety of shows, anime, comedy, films, music clips with a very slick interface and extremely easy to use. The movies are mostly located on YouTube and some of the links don’t work, but the variety is amazing and there’s definitely something there to watch anytime of the day.
