be proud of who we are

I think we should all be proud of who we are. We overcame the war and have struggled to be who we are today. Cambodians. We are proud of our culture which was almost destroyed forever by menacing men. Cambodia is a poor country today but when I have graduated from college and university, I, a cambodian will dedicate my time to teach young, poor
kids to write, to speak to play instruments so that the country will become an advanced place. As long as the cambodians trust me, I will try my best to help my country become successful. I may be 12 right now, but my feelings are really strong.

I think Cambodians should always try to live peacefully and help each other out in tough situations. Cambodia is a poor place, but if we stick together and help each other when times are bad, then we can do anything! I've only been to Cambodia once and I've learned that everyone there is friendly and that it's a great civilization. Some day, I want to visit everyone there again and make a diffence in their lives. I want everyone there to experience what it's like to have advanced technology and to learn fluent english. When I asked my cousin in Cambodia if she wanted to learn English, she said "Yes". I asked her why she didn't go to school and learn it and she said that her family didn't have enough money to pay for it. I really think we should all have a right to learn whatever we we wanted in school. Don't you agree? When I am older, I want to go to Cambodia and end poverty and convince the schools to let children learn any new language without having to pay. I want to keep the Cambodian language alive. I don't want it to die away like some other spoken languages do. I want to keep Cambodia strong!
