Universally people of all colors cheer the arrival of 2006 with Champagne, good novelties, specialty food and romantic indulgence to loved ones. I look back and recollect the Government of Cambodian principally manned by Cambodian People's Party year long achievements. Not too many that inspired my urge to toast a cold glass of ice tea over my rice soup of new crop from Thailand, regrettably not Cambodia, with sauté trey kess and prohok kreung aing tomorrow early dawn.
All and all the Supplemental Treaty, recently signed by Prime Minister Hun Sen arbitrarily, was dominating my thought process throughout times. Even though, there were many other things that had crunched my heart too. I thought 2005 was a starting time for Cambodia another 25 years or more of vassal fifdom of Yuon imperialism.
Congratulations to Mr. Hun Sen for much of achievement to subjugate his national dignity and integrity for a job title filled with unjustifiable vastly wealth as his nation is at the bottom of UN most poor nation list. He has had his hands on Cambodia choke hold for the last 20 years as a renegade DRK cadre to a full time lackey of his ancestral nemesis. Every imaginable thing Mr. Hun Sen had done to Cambodia was not for the welfare of people but his cronies, benefactors, and selective cliques.
Cambodia is a nation full of foreign debts and let live at the charity of others. For two decades under his rule Cambodia has become the most suppressive and abusive nation in the peninsula of Indo-Khmer. He monopolizes and manipulates every branch of government and political party. The next most notable violation is in human rights which categorically are at play until the last second of old year.
Remarkably in 2005, he has held the legislative and head of state hostage to submit the nation under Yuon colonalization even furthermore. Also he halted and stalled the UN initiated tribunal to almost an unrecoverable task at times. The whole nation and judicial system is under his tyrannical grip evermore so. He repeatedly insulted voters and UN that he is irreplaceable and indispensable. Fiercely he has proclaimed he who is the Iron Fist and Strong Man ever lived in Cambodia after the blood thirst Khmer Rouge regime was toppled in 1979.
Thus 2005 was the most significant year that the very tyrant was able to sell out Cambodia effortlessly to its most fearsome violator of centuries. Of course 2005 would be another bygone but not forgettable of Cambodia government suppression and violations of human rights. But let 2006 resolution be the awakening time for those to rise and be responsible for the sake of the nation and its humanity.
Enough 20 years of abuse and contempt, let Cambodia rise for its liberty and justice for all.

well..good points my blood friend..i told all of you all along..its seems like no-one care..remembered that "forgetting the khmer past is endangered our khmer future"..one point i disagee with you about to congratulate A'one eye's vietcong-sihanuok slave-dog...what did he do for for the past 20 years..nothing!!if there won't be the UN/US..do you think it would happened?...please think and do more research, and analize every word the communist cpp said, and the funcipuppets, too. ..I will talk about him later on. For more than 20 years, Hun Sen not only has destroyed all his enimies but also he has build his uncrashable elites from civil servants to business tycoons like "OKNHA", not to mention prince of flip flop, Norodom Ranaridh whose mouth becomes juicy when he sees power and money. He doesn't care about Cambodian future. All he can care about is if Hun Sen lets him lick the left over bones. All Ranaridh cares about is 30% for his donkies although everyone else is fighting for democracy but this prince fighting for autocracy with Hun Sen for Hun Sen so the prince can enjoy the left over. Moreover for Hun Sen, he is zipping out all the democracy activists and politicians who don't support his absolute power starting from Sam Rainsy Party to Human Rights group, for example, recently Kim Sokha has been jailed.
What can we do? Many countries like European Union has condemn that but not even one piece of Hun Sen's hair has moved. Especially, American, Hun Sen trashes back all the time if American condemn his government of Human Rights violation or something else...
What can we do now? The spider web of tyrany has been built stronger and bigger. None the less, majority of Cambodian has been less informed. Every TV stations and radio stations are working for Hun Sen, and those ones which don't support Hun Sen, they have very limit air waves or even sometimes they are being monitored to say or broadcast a certaint news.
What can we do? Tell me!

well.well.. you got to know that the puppetrator is still dr. high school deploma sihanouk...because he is the one who opened the chapter and he has to finish his book. Dr. sihanuok traded south-vietnam( khmerland) for his independence from france..all the stupid one so happy with him, and king-slave hun sen only traded the Cambodian border for his ironshell..if there won't be his mother viet-cong do u think he dares to do all of that?, the unrest, the arrest, the defaming,the border signing, the cursing!!!..thinks: every bodies, I told to you so!.. The cpp is the communist party..no-one believe me..they are the same as the viet-cong, the chinese, the north korea ,and cuba.
remembered that ..the communist don't have democracy in its constituation or bylaw, otherwise there won't called COMMUNIST, any-one clear?..you can not have freedom
