Re: Appearance of Sam Rainsy on February 16, 2005
Let it be clear that this letter was expressive over Cambodia fair share in world view and political correctness.
The Asiatic looking British interviewer, Zeinab Badawi, was not only arrogant but pervasive. Blatantly insensitive to the political and historical of Cambodia, she claimed her colleague at BBC of Viet origin were offended by her guest Mr. Sam Rainsy campaign words toward Viet minority in 1998. She seemed more protagonistic and belligerent toward the invited guest in term of historical perspective. Evidently her arrogant butterfly complexity played out in the face of her fellow immigrants.
I was not certain if Ms.Badawi was intellectually capable and averse to the comparably situation why Gaelic-Irish adamantly rejected British rule for the last 700 years. Thus she shouldn’t have been more infuriated with IRA and common Irish rersentment over British superiority.
From her denigating tone I gathered this individual had some problems of her own ego and journalistic impartiality. Seemingly her pomposity and self talked over truth seeking and mission of journalism. This type of persona that Iranian people or the late great Mahatma Gandhi would send for soul searching heritage journey. She is too imperialistic and cold hard talked head. Not nearly hardtalk as its appeared title. She was contemptuously mulling Mr.Sam Rainsy like a starving bitch of bulldog breed had never been let out the cage of ignorance.
Considered Ms. Badawi played Mr. Sam Rainsy a more defensive from her public strip naked humiliation tactic but he was eloquent and less visibly emotional.Confidently, Mr.Sam Rainsy reaffirmed that he would not only said it but he would say it to anyone in no time in the interest of his duly position and people. He did gentlemenly well inspite of time and personal attacks on the interviewer part. This interviewer was consumed with ideas that Viets were victims. Viet Nam was the savior of Cambodia, therefore politician like Sam Rainsy can’t bash Viets or Hun Sen if he chose not to take ministerial position then and do not complaint now. She abrasively insulted Sam Rainsy with the same implication as Mr.Hun Sen and Prince Rannaridh did.
She adamantly claimed the credibility of British foreign office report a year or so ago Cambodia under Hun Sen was doing OK and what’s Sam Rainsy problem. She insinuated Sam Rainsy was no good or any worthy than Hun Sen. No time given, this is typical behavior of journalist who loved to hear and answer own questions. Incessantly her superior English lingusitic skill drowned out her guest as he was randomly picking words for his answers. She was an outrageous snob of her British own class.
Media is only good if the person with task stays within journalistic moral and ethic, apparently Ms. Zeinab (Snob) Badawi was more bias and self concerned than the topic of her interview. That’s bad press for BBC.
Sincerely,

Prak Hap, you are hard to be pleased, you are so quick to get angry when someone mentally / physically offended Mr. Sam Ransy. Maybe you think that he Mr. Sam Ransy is your god which no ones can touch him. You can even get angry with Ms. Zeinab when she did only her job interviewing Mr. Sam Ransy on the HARD Talk, I don’t think if you can still call your self a people of democracy since you are such a narrow-minded. Come on, don’t jut limit your brain, try to open up your mind, Sam Ransy in, in my point of view, is not any god, he has been trying to accuse those offending him, but he is not any better than anyone of them., he does not even have the guts to clear his case with the curt in Cambodia, but he always to run away from the problem he has caused. If you refer to the defamation cases which Mr. Hun Sen, Princes Norodom Ranarith who on their individual basic have pressed charge again him, you will notice that those cases are just kinds of civil case, not criminal case, there is no need for him to be afraid of being arrested, if he is really a law abiding people, he should simply / bravely clear his case with the curt instead of running away, if found guilty he would at most pay some amount of cash for a penalty and that’s it. You can tell me that the curt in Cambodia cannot be trusted, but you can never ever tell me all cases are judged unfairly, especially Mr. Sam Ransy case, a man like him should be able to find and get a good lawyer to defend his case, what more, international community is watching, Cambodia links to the world, even if the hearing is not in the public but the hearing can never ever be possibly done in any secret places thus such an excuse in this case is unacceptable, only a fool would believe that. It’s time he faced the curt with the proofs he has, he should set up a good example for his people and his followers, the man of law abiding. Am I right?
I have more comments for the above, and I will write you later, meanwhile I am looking forward to welcoming all of your comments and feedbacks on this.
Sao
Sao, where are you living?
You didn't know anything about Cambodia situation.
Did you ever see how their parliament run?
Did you know how many of their parliament members were in jail because of actively against Vietnam-Cambodia border's agreement?
You said the guy (Sam Ransy) will be O.K to go back home for the civil case (He alleged the government corruption).
What the hell on earth, the opposition leader was stripped out of parliament member because of allege the government corruption?
I watch news from the government support T.V. They brocasted that story a few times.
