not so surprised about the latest political and social developments
I'm not so surprised to learn about the latest political and social developments in Cambodia. Literally, the episodes might have been stemmed from an outstanding chronicles of psychopolitical windfall which have been installed in many Cambodians for generations. A vigilance of fight or flight characters and mindset has been successfully contaminated in every piece of flesh and blood in Cambodian politicains. You have to be successed regardless the cost of oneself as well as the entire community. You family's future, dignity, pretigious, and survival and friends will depend on your strength. The vivid impression of contant pressure of these factors have helped to create a dreadful cognitive thoughts about being no guilty and no hesitation to "kill or not to kill" as another label as "syndrome X". Pol Pot, for example was an injection of painful Cambodian political drama. The playful event continues to hunt Cambodia society currently. The continuation of impunity killing, rape, expliotation, oppression, and other criminals, including corruption(the act of deprive and steal resources from the community "the oath of do no harm") are the clear evidences of shameless and non guilty acts. At least half of Cambodians including some of her leaders partially suffer from the awful and scary syndrome.
To paint a dim picture for the current situation is making things less optimistic, but it is to give one a deep and critical thought on how an individual's mind is created with the daily injection of all types of environments s/he is brought up and living through until s/he becomes a country's leader. One respectful woman said "it takes a whole village to raise a kid" as well as it takes "the whole country to seek and raise a good leader".
