Birthday or Anniversary or Family Memorial days or Day of Refugee landing here are all significant and meaningful to individuals but there are dates that affected our lives and Cambodia history forever:
November 9,1953 this day French returned the left over Cambodia territrorial to people in the name of monarchy.
March 18,1970 this day people of Cambodia courageously removed the monarchy and despots from ruling and power. At the urge of only Sihanouk,Viets waged undeclared war on Khmer territory against Khmers.
October 9, 1970 this day Khmer Republic pronounced its name and regime to the modern world. Emergence of moderate and progressive trend. Monarchy was unnecessary for Khmer survival.
April 17,1975 this day under only Sihanouk order, people were chased out of their own homes, schools closed, cities turned gravesites overnight,people properties were robbed, and thousands were slaughtered out of personal vengeance. Every 4 out of 7 Khmers were the surviving victims of Fuhrer Sihanouk furor and insanity.
December 25,1978 this day Viets came in and occupied Cambodia at the request of DK aka PRK. Since life was not the same for the whole country.
March 15,1992 this day the Commanding of Collective Foreign Forces replaced Viets and imposed UN rules on Cambodia warring factions.
June 14,1993 this day the re-emergence and re-instatement of evil regime from darkness at the bless of UN to rule Cambodia historical mislink of new generations once again.

It Is Time For A New Leader
It seems to me that the leadership in Cambodia does not fight and protect the interest of the Cambodian people. Because it is under the influence of Vietnam. It is about time that we start a new beginning for our country and also for our people. Every we have a problem with our neighbor, our prime minister seems to forget who he is. He must start to realize that, he is Khmer, and he also must try to protect the country and the people from Vietnam. Yes, the Vietnamese did help us to drive the Khmer rouge from power, but don't forget the intentions of the Vietnamese people. They have been trying to swallow us just like they have done to Khmer Kroum. They did not want to leave Cambodia by choice, they were forced out by the United Nations in the 1990's. And when they came to Cambodia in 1979, they also brought along thousands of their citizens to our country and they are still in Cambodia. Because Vietnam wants to control us like what is happening in Laos. I know our leader is under pressure from them, but sometimes you have to stand up for your own blood. We have about 13 million people in Cambodia, there must be somebody who knows how to lead our poor country to prosperity. But we have to do it without being told on what to do, like our current leader. We must fight and sacrifice our lives for the good of the country. If we stand up and tell the world that Vietnam has encroach into our country, it will help us in the future. But it has to start from our leader.
It is time for a new leadership in Cambodia, so we will not have to lose any more territories. Because since our present prime minister took power, we have lost our land along the border. But he never says any thing about it, because he is being commanded by them.
