Corruption is truly start with the lack of basic need

After reading one of our friend opinion about corruption in Cambodia to whether the corruption is involved by lack of basic needs or not, I think sometime corruption is truly start with the lack of basic needs for some people in a country or a society. However, when it is easy to commit, it is no longer the lack of basic needs that caused the corruption. It is the creed and cheat to the society from the untouchable people. It is a selfish act of cheating. In addition, corruption can be a form of tradition. For example, the leaders or politicians in Cambodia have been corrupted more or less. In every level of privileged people such as those who hold higher power for centuries have done as a way of life.

The corruption in Cambodian's society has become an old saying, " Toch si toch",(small eats small). This immoral act has become Cambodian's tradition. The Cambodian's society seems to except that unfair cheated act of the powerful individual.

Furthermore, it's so powerless because Cambodian have never had a law to prosecute the corrupted powerful individual or the law has never been enforced.

The corruption is an unfair advantage which classified as the crime of stealing our society resources, and it has to be stopped. There are four ways to stop the corruption. First, Cambodian have to be enriched with the democracy society, especially, freedom of free speech. Second, the law to prosecute corruption must be established, enforced and severly punished. Third, we must break the tradition by aware that corruption is unfair and immoral responsibility of the citizen.

Corrupted because of lack of basic needs

DO you think who claim that they are corrupted because of lack of basic needs?

Do you think that corruption is a moral impairment/judgment rather than lack of basic needs? Why many top government officials in Cambodia continue to be corrupted
since they have had plenty of money?

Should We Provoke A War To Regain Our Lost Land?

I am very strongly agree that the border encroachment should be stopped and we, Cambodian, must get back our land which lost.

However, I am very disagree with the bloodshed of our nation. I am so disagree with the provoke of war. It has been proved that for three decades of wars we, Cambodian, have lost almost everything. We have lost our kindness mentality in our nation, our property, our economic sposperity, our border and our intelligent. We have been weakening ourself because of the wars. We have been down graded. Some of our people are ashamed to say that he or she is a Cambodian when one was asked. (Especially, those who have lighter skin). It seems that the world sees our Cambodian nation as a block of ice in the hot sun. We start to melt a bit by bit. Our nation has been called as a beggar nation. We should be ashame of ourself.

Now, after thirty years of rebuilding our nation and the country has gone no where because the corruption in the government, corrupted politicians and currepted political parties who are forming and serving for their power and benifit of their elites and families. And those who dear to speak out, losing their lives as for the rejection from these elite groups, especially Hun Sen and his donkies.

I, therefore, believe that we are not ready to die to waste our given life anymore yet. We are not so ready to lose even a shirt and a pant. We must learn how to use our intelligent. I have never believe Cambodian who left alive are all stupid. However, I believe that they have never given the opportunity to do so as Westerner nation. Westerner nation uses the brain of their people to do the job. We should deal with our nieghtbouring with diplomacy and intelligent within the brain of our people. But the most important thing is that our nation, our politicians or government must agree to the benifit of our nation. We must be united and our national conflict must be solved first. I don't care if you are a CPP, FUNCI or Sammy. We have to draw a line that this is for our nation to be strong and we must sacrify.

Although I agree that we one day are old and dying, I am strongly disagree with the war within our nation or with our neighbouring. I believe every individual in any nationality has the rights to life and to peace. They are concerned and struggled as much as us Cambodian, and they will gain the advantages if we act violently and unintelligently about the issues. And there are conflicts everywhere we just have to solve it very intelligently.

Even Sihanouk have all power he needs, he will not be able to get your land back

Even Sihanouk have all power he needs, he will not be able to get your land back. Let be realistic, he was king, chief of state. He had power during Sangkum Reasniyum, he could not do it. What can he do now that he is old, Hun Sen and the Vietnamese 5th column on his neck? The answer is you KHMER can get back your lands.

If Cambodians wanted to survive on this world, they have to start defending themselves. General Patton said" Freedom can only pay by blood". If Cambodian people want to be a nice people, any time the neighbor encroaches their land, they move to avoid problem. The neighbors will kept on doing the same technique centuries after centuries till you have no more place to go on earth. It is time that Khmer Krom start fight back with what ever you have, use your intelligent, organize and fight back. The world will not stand by. Khmer in Cambodia should also fight back with the present government--controlling by the Vietnamese 5th column. If you do nothing for sure you will lose. If you fight back, you may win you may lose, many people may be thousands will die, so what? No one will live for ever, we all will die, only when? Are you willing to die, to save your land? The Palestinian fought back for many years, now they found some light at the end of the tunnel. So, fight back my friend, if not now, when? Until you become another Champa? But how can we fight with empty hand? You asked. No, use your intelligent; you have everything you needed to fight with. They are around you. Watch Mac Gyver, apply VC’s technique (reverse engineer on them), use fertilizer, gasoline, booby trap etc... There are many former Cambodian armies in Cambodia and former Mike Force in Kampuchea Krom still alive.

Why don't you start thinking? Wake Up! It is time! Stop talking! Take action!

This is my advice, the world waiting to help you. Only you can get it done, the rest of the world can only help. Pisnoka
